EXCLUSIVE: Cayla Kitayama (pictured), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) benefits at technology giant Google has been confirmed as the opening keynote speaker at Employee Benefits Live 2018 on Tuesday 2 October 2018.
Kitayama’s session, titled ‘Putting health and wellbeing at the heart of your benefits strategy’, will start the two-day event’s varied, multi-stream conference programme as the opening keynote address at 10.00am.
In her keynote, Kitayama will discuss the health and wellbeing initiatives that have been implemented at Google and how these types of programmes can help to improve overall employee wellbeing.
She will additionally showcase key teachings from Google’s health and wellbeing journey to date, as well as highlight how the organisation’s strategy will develop moving forwards.
Kitayama manages benefits programmes and policies for Google UK and other notable countries within the EMEA region. She also leads activities for the Google.org team and plays an active role in the Womens@ employee resource group, which is targeted at the organisation’s female employees.
Kitayama has worked at Google for just over eight years in total, and has worked in its people operations teams across the US, Singapore and the UK during this time.
Employee Benefits Live 2018 will take place on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 October 2018 at ExCeL London.
