The Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) has hired Sean Leahy as its new executive director of people and culture.
Starting in August 2019, Leahy’s areas of responsibility at EPUT include HR, organisational development, workforce planning, medical staffing and payroll. Other departments that also fall under his remit are communications, complaints, equality, freedom to speak up and the diversity and faith communities.
Leahy, who has more than 20 years of experience as an HR director, specialises in employee engagement, learning and development, compensation, employee benefits, talent management, recruitment and employee relations.
Previously, Leahy worked as HR director at the Post Office, international HR director at Key Criteria Group, group HR director and chief people officer at Netstore and head of global recruitment at Fidelity International Investments.
