Digital solutions firm Insight Enterprises, business management consultancy Mason Advisory and information technology firm Allianz Technology have been named as some of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Tech for 2023.

Established by Great Place To Work UK, the list is created using anonymous feedback from employees in the technology industry about their workplace experience. The survey analyses people strategies and the ranking is based on policies, practices and programmes that deliver a consistent employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Insight Enterprises was included in the category for super large organisations as a result of its collaborative culture that inspires innovation and personal growth for all. Meanwhile, Mason Advisory featured on the small and medium employer list due to how it embeds operational excellence in everything it does to sustain credibility as a great employer.

Other employers that made the list include Allianz Technology, Booking.com and Checkatrade.

Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK, said: “In one of the country’s fastest-growing industries, it’s fantastic to see these tech organisations putting their people strategy at the heart of the business and implementing policies, practices and programmes that sustain an impactful and consistently great employee experience for all.”

Paul Pugh, chief executive officer at Mason Advisory, added: “Our whole team is thrilled that we have been recognised as a great workplace in technology for the fifth time as we are a company that promotes trust, pride, high performance, creativity and ambition. We are proud of our working practices and how we have managed to develop such a great culture, and of course, we are proud of every single member of our team. This accolade is testament to the high calibre of tech talent in our organisation and we thank all our employees for their commitment, enthusiasm and sheer hard work.”

Helen Bonar, head of HR at Insight UK, said: “Receiving this recognition for the fifth year running underscores our steadfast commitment to placing our people at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to providing personal growth and development opportunities to ensure that all of our teammates can carve out a successful and fulfilling career. It’s an honour to be part of such an outstanding culture that prioritises our people and provides the support and resources needed for them to thrive.”
