Compass has launched a home computing scheme and a tax-free bike plan alongside its salary sacrifice childcare voucher package. The catering company decided to introduce all three benefits at the same time so staff could have one contact point and could see how the sacrifice on the benefits combined would impact on their take-home pay.
June Woodhouse, HR director at Compass, admitted that the computing scheme did carry some risk because of the high level of turnover in the firm, but did not want this to effect other staff. The scheme is being administered through home computing provider Futuremedia, with Halfords providing the bikes and Accor the childcare vouchers.
