Combined Benefit Services closes

Voluntary benefits provider, Combined Benefits Services (CBS), has closed with effect from 16 May 2008.

Discounts available through its free lifestyle benefits option, MyChoices, can no longer be accessed, but any orders placed through the scheme before 16 May will be processed by discount suppliers. Employees who have purchased a MyChoicesExtra card, meanwhile, will be able to use this until the expiry date.

Any policies that are held with Combined Insurance through CBS are not affected in any way by the move.

The closure was a result of Combined Insurance’s ongoing review to streamline and modernise its business, following its sale to the Ace Group of companies from Aon Corporation in April.
