Global medical services provider Coloplast hosted a flexible benefits roadshow to help its employees plan for their future.
Coloplast, which has offered its staff flexible benefits since 2011, opted to stage the roadshow to give employees the opportunity to review their current benefit choices and discover new options to include in their bespoke plan.
The flexible benefits scheme aims to give staff a chance to improve their health and wellbeing by offering discounted gym memberships, health screening and dental insurance. It also includes the opportunity to buy or sell holiday and make changes to certain benefits, such as enhancing pension contributions and increasing private medical insurance (PMI) to cover more than one person.
On top of these flexible benefits, Coloplast also offers a profit-related pay scheme and a share incentive plan.
Sam Sedwill, HR director, Coloplast, said: “When it comes to a benefits package, we understand that one size doesn’t fit all and that not everyone will want the same thing. For instance, some people value enhanced pension contributions more highly than they regard a gym membership and vice versa.
"Those with young families may be keen on using the childcare voucher scheme or increasing their PMI, whilst others may want to invest in some company shares.
“We believe that by enabling our employees to create their own bespoke package they can adapt and change their benefits to suit their lifestyle."
