UK-based IT organisation Civica has appointed Julie Chell as its chief people officer.
In her new role, Chell's main focus will be driving Civica's global people and organisational strategy while the business continues to grow; this includes concentrating on increasing the organisation's diverse talent and skills base.
Chell, who has more than 20 years of HR management experience, specialises in compensation and benefits, employment law, harmonisation programmes, contract variation, redundancy management, HR management and transfer of undertakings (protection of employment) processes (TUPE).
Previously, Chell held numerous positions at financial services organisation FIS, including HR director, UK and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), HR director, international HR director and HR director EMEA. She has also worked as HR director at Certegy Card Services, deputy HR director at Creation Financial Services and HR manager at Price Waterhouse, now PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC).
