Raucous and fun Christmas parties certainly subscribe to the theory the ‘more the merrier’.
After all, it can't be much fun for a one-man start-up sitting alone in a pub with no one to pull a cracker with except the bartender.
However, help is at hand for small firms and one-man bands that don’t have the critical mass to hold a Christmas party.
Accountancy firm KashFlow is making sure its subscribers are not lonely this Christmas by putting on a Christmas party.
Duane Jackson, founder of KashFlow, said: "I've wanted to get a bunch of KashFlow customers together for an informal meet-up for some time and the thought came to me that there are tens of thousands of start-ups and small businesses that don't have enough staff for a proper knees-up."
The party will take place in London and those attending will be charged £15. All profits will be donated to Crisis - the national charity for single homeless people.
