CBI-2016

Nigel Hopkins, resource director at the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), will outline how data can be utilised to future proof an employee benefits strategy at Employee Benefits Connect 2016 on 9 March.

Speaking alongside Dr Eric Tyree, chief data scientist at Capita Employee Benefits, in the session entitled ‘Using data analytics to future proof your employee benefits’, Hopkins will discuss how employers can use data to inform their benefits strategy for the long term, as well as how the CBI analysed its own workforce demographic to offer benefits to best suit its employees.

Hopkins said: “I am going to discuss our [employee] demographic analysis process and outline whether the benefits we introduced were taken up in the expected way.

“For us, the analysis highlighted that we were pretty close to where we expected to be in terms of take up of employee benefits. If were weren’t as accurate, we would have to question our process of analysis and whether our employees are perhaps different [in terms of benefits requirements] than others.”

Employee Benefits Connect 2016 will take place on 9 March at the Lancaster London.
