Something for the weekend: Want to be the Next Big Cheese? Well here’s your chance. Snack maker Whisps is on the hunt for a cheese content officer.
To apply for the job, all you have to do is send the Whisps team your “cheesiest joke” and give your considered opinion on the weighty question “is a cheesesteak a sandwich”? Finally you need to put to work those TikTok skills honed over endless months of pandemic lockdown to make the cheesiest, snack-sized video ever.
The successful candidate will get paid $10,000 (around £7,070) to spend a year sampling – you’ve guessed it – cheesy crisps.
Other perks include brainstorming twice a month with the Whisps brand marketing team to create content for its social media platforms, trying out its secret flavours ahead of launch, and receiving a year’s supply of cheesy crisps, which come in seven flavours – parmesan, cheddar, asiago and pepper jack, tangy ranch, nacho, barbeque and tomato basil. All for around 30 hours of commitment over 12 months. What’s not to like, cheese lovers?
