BGL Group has launched an on-site gym to keep its 1,500 employees healthy.
The facility is part of the Peterborough-based organisation’s MyWellbeing programme, which aims to promote awareness of health and wellbeing among employees.
The heavily-subsidised gym has the latest equipment, and two instructors will be available to offer training plans and fitness support.
It was opened by Olympic gold medallist rower, Katherine Grainger.
Matthew Donaldson, chief executive officer of the BGL Group, said: “The group places a great emphasis on recognising and thanking its employees for their commitment, and the gym is an exciting next phase in our MyWellbeing programme.
“We have already had hundreds of employees sign up to use the facility and to have such a sporting legend unveil the new site was very exciting.”
