EXCLUSIVE: William Grant and Sons has added a health cash plan to its flexible benefits scheme to offer more flexible healthcare provision for its 1,600 employees.
The Scottish distiller offers the plan, provided by Cigna Healthcare and introduced in July, in addition to its onsite occupational health programme and private medical insurance (PMI) scheme, which is available to all staff.
Under the PMI scheme, only about 200 senior staff can include family members in their cover. The health cash plan allows all staff to flex their level of cover.
Gary Brewer, head of reward and organisational development at William Grant and Sons, said: “It is consistent with our idea about prudent saving and personal responsibility.”
