Payment services firm Worldline has named Anika Grant as its new chief people officer and executive committee member as of September.
Based in Paris, Grant will report directly to Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, chief executive officer of Worldline.
In her career, she has focused on leveraging her skills and experience to lead large-scale organisational transformations from an HR perspective. She will use her diverse global background and comprehensive HR leadership skills to support Worldline in developing skills, experience and capabilities for its ongoing transformation.
Grant is a chief human resources officer and board advisor, with more than 30 years of experience helping organisations transform through strategic talent management. She was most recently chief people officer at Ubisoft, where she navigated a period of pivotal change for the organisation and transformed the HR function.
She has since been advising large, multi-national firms on strategic HR, workforce transformation and culture.
Prior to joining Ubisoft, Grant held senior, global HR roles at Dyson, where she led an operating model transformation, and at Uber, where she helped drive leadership and culture change leading up to and after their initial public offering.
She began her career at Accenture as a consultant, and then transitioned to internal HR roles. This included HR director for a European region that encompassed France, Benelux and Mauritius, and managing a global centre of expertise in talent strategy.
Vacheron said: “We are pleased to welcome Anika Grant to our executive committee as chief people officer. Her extensive experience and proven track record in leading HR transformations within major international firms uniquely position her to guide Worldline through the profound changes we are undertaking. We are confident that Anika’s innovative leadership will be instrumental in shaping a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture, which is key to our ongoing growth and successful transformation.”
