The Pensions Trust has announced details of the charging structure for funds offered via its auto-enrolment platform, SmarterPensions, which is set to launch on 4 March 2013.

The majority of the fund range will have an annual management charge (AMC) set at 0.45%. SmarterPensions, which will be fiully auto-enrolment compliant, is the platform for the Pensions Trust’s qualifying workplace pension schemes.

When SmarterPensions launches in March, the AMC for the Pensions Trust’s Flexible Retirement Plan will reduce to 0.45% from 0.5%, while the AMC for its ethical fund will be lowered by 0.15% to 0.6%.

AMCs for all other schemes will be set at 0.45% from their launch.

JLT has been appointed administrative provider to SmarterPensions.
