T-Systems has increased take-up in its group personal pension (GPP) plan from 80% to 84%, and has introduced an online flexible benefits scheme.
The GPP plan was promoted during the launch of the flex scheme in January. Since the launch, 81% of the telecommunications firm’s 1,000 employees have registered on the system.
The GPP and the flex scheme are both provided by Aon Hewitt.
Benefits available through the flex scheme include: the GPP, private medical insurance (PMI), holiday purchase, childcare vouchers, dental insurance, health screening, a bikes-for-work scheme, an employee discount scheme, and gym discounts.
Sally-Anne Borrill, head of reward at T-Systems, said: “The feedback we are receiving is very positive. Our employees love it because, for the first time, they have the opportunity to see all the information about their benefits in one place. Our challenge is now to get the other 20% involved.”
