Stress is still an issue for many at work, with 44% stating that they feel under excessive pressure once or twice a week. According to How engaged are Britain's employees report, conducted by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development for Kingston Business School and Ipsos Mori, just under a quarter (22%) of employees report experiencing high levels of stress. This rises to 32% among those in management positions.
The survey also found that women appear to work shorter hours than men - 44% of women work less than 35 hours per week, compared to 18% of men.
