Strengths Partnership has launched a new workforce development challenge to help employers capture the spirit and energy of the 2012 Olympic Games.

The Going for Gold Employer Challenge is designed to improve employees’ wellbeing and positive energy at work.

As part of the challenge to help raise the performance and motivation of employees, each participating organisation will be required to complete a 'Strengths for Success' programme to improve team outcomes across areas of talent and people management.

Those participating in the programme will be assessed by a panel of judges and outstanding performance will be recognised at an awards ceremony.

James Brook, director and co-founder of Strengths Partnership, said: “We were keen to create an initiative that would build on the energy of the up-and-coming Olympic Games and deliver increased performance, motivation and confidence for employees in participating organisations.

“We are delighted with the Going for Gold programme and the significant interest expressed in it, and already have a number of leading firms signed up to take part.”
