Recruitment firm SThree has cut its private medical insurance premiums by more than £23,000.
This equates to a 10% saving, which is attributed to its £11,000 saving on medical claims in 12 months after the organisation nurse-led claims management service, Managed Care, provided by PMI Health Group.
The claims savings were made by staff choosing NHS rather than private treatment where it was deemed more appropriate.
Mitesh Chandarana, a benefits specialist at SThree, said: “The organisation’s medical insurance premiums were increasing year-on-year and we needed to find a sustainable solution to help manage this cost.
“Since investing in PMI Health Group’s Managed Care service, we have achieved a 10% reduction in premiums for the first time in the history of the scheme: a fantastic accomplishment given the current economic climate.”
