Simplyhealth has launched a new employer paid health plan.
This includes free child cover for up to four children under 18 years old, discounted gym membership, online health risk assessments and a dental accident benefit as part of the new plan.
Alongside the core plan, employers can also choose from six additional options for an extra fee. These include an employee assistance programme, hospital and accident cover, new child payment, an absence management programme, private medical insurance excess cover and a primary care module. The primary care module includes lifestyle benefits such as a GP helpline, help with prescription charges, GP fees and vaccinations.
Howard Hughes, head of employer marketing at Simplyhealth, said: “Our new corporate offering will still enable employees to claim back the cost of their everyday healthcare, which includes trips to the dentist and opticians as well as visits to the osteopath, chiropractor or physiotherapist but it now also includes a number of lifestyle benefits.”
