Leeds-based recruitment firm Seven Search and Selection has signed a deal to transfer full ownership across to its 25 employees as of this month.
According to the business, it chose to establish an employee ownership trust (EOT) so all of its employees would be personally invested and working for each other, with a common goal of sharing in its growth and success. It was supported by Andy Francey and Brad Adams from law firm Freeths and Ian Meek from Buckle Barton Chartered Accountants through the employee ownership trust sale.
Co-owning directors Gabby Rosenberg, Liam Stokey and Stewart Wilson will continue to form the Seven Search and Selection leadership team.
Rosenberg said: “With it being Seven’s 20th birthday this year, this has made us reflect and consider the future, in particular the future ownership of the business. Selling the business in full to its employees in the form of an EOT was a no brainer for us and means that Seven continues to retain the collective values, expertise and commitment of the people in it.”

This move was the only one that made sense to us, it means we are passing the baton on to those who truly understand our business, culture and values.”
