Pour Moi promotes paid position for those with passion for pumpkin spice

pumpkin spice latteSomething for the weekend: With 22 September, considered to be the start of autumn, just around the corner, it is only a matter of time before the pumpkin spice craze takes hold once more. So, clothing brand Pour Moi has started searching for one lucky person to test the ultimate autumnal drink: the pumpkin spice latte.

This could be the perfect job for someone with a passion for pumpkin, looking to spice up their autumn, in addition to bagging a tasty £300 salary for the privilege.

The winning autumn aficionado will receive a budget to purchase the limited-edition drink from each of the chains selling them, plus a few other seasonal favourites, then taste, rate and review each one before reporting back to the brand.

Pour Moi stated that successful applicants must be able to get themselves to and from each coffee shop, have a strong enthusiasm for autumn and a penchant for pumpkins. Lots of experience in drinking pumpkin spice lattes is desired, but not essential.

If you want to prove that you have the perfect palette for pumpkin spice, then all you need to do is fill out a form explaining why you are the best person for the job and why you love the autumn season – and its totemic tipple – so much. Applications close on 30 September and winners will be contacted the week commencing 3 October.

The position is open globally, with the only stipulation being easy access to purveyors of the limited edition drink.

In the job listing, Pour Moi said: “Considered to be the fall season in a cup and now synonymous with the joys of autumn, nearly every coffee shop has got on board with autumn’s top trending drink. But, with so many places offering a Pumpkin Spice Latte or similar seasonal drinks, it can be hard to decipher the good from the bad – and nobody wants their first sip of the limited-edition coffee to be a bad one.”

Here at Employee Benefits, this role sounds like it has a kick to it, and is a real pick of the patch. If you’ve spent this heatwave summer itching to look out your knitwear and go walking through the red and gold leaves, sipping on a pumpkin spice latte, now might be your moment…
