Perfect Health Insurance has launched a health cash plan aimed at small employers.
The plan offers standard cover for dentistry, optical and hospital stays, but also includes new benefits such as cover for hospital car parking of up to £45 per day for friends and family visiting patients in hospital, and cover for up to four prescriptions a year.
The policy also offers income replacement payments of up to £1,500 per month for six months in case of accident or illness that prevents policyholders from working.
Andrew Tripp, chief executive officer of Perfect Health Insurance, said: "I worked closely with underwriters to create an affordable policy that provides day-to-day benefits when staff are healthy, such as dental and optical benefits, but more importantly offers them support in case of hospital stays and forced absence from work through accident or illness."
