The average advertised salary for jobs within the legal sector has increased by 13.1% between June 2017 and June 2018, according to research by recruitment website CV Library.

Its research, which compared job market data from June 2018 to the same data from June 2017, also found that advertised salaries for catering roles have risen by 9.9% between 2017 and 2018, while marketing jobs have seen a pay increase of 8.3% between June 2017 and June 2018.

Sales roles have a reported increase in advertised salary of 4.9%, compared to automotive jobs, which have a pay increase of 3.9% on advertised salaries between June 2017 and June 2018. The advertised salary for recruitment positions has risen by 3% in the last year, which is more than jobs in the IT sector (2.5%) and accounting roles (2.3%).

Advertised salaries for engineering jobs has increased by 1.6% between June 2017 and June 2018, while pay for manufacturing roles has risen by 1.2% over the same time period.

Advertised salaries for new job roles increased by 1.2% in June 2018.
