Pattonair has been recognised for its commitment to the healthcare and wellbeing of its 900 employees.
The aerospace and defence supply chain service provider has received a Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace award, which recognises the organisation’s health and wellbeing initiatives and benefits.
Pattonair offers an employer-funded health cash plan, provided by SimplyHealth, which includes cover for dental and optical care, as well as offering employees access to an employee assistance programme.
It has also run a number of initiatives to engage employees with their health and wellbeing by running competitions with Cycle Derby, which has helped to promote the organisation’s bikes-for-work scheme.
It communicates the number of health benefits using wellbeing fairs and via email.

“We have seen take-up and engagement increase, especially by doing fun things such as the bikes competition with Cycle Derby.”
