My Family Care and US-based Childrens’ Creative Learning Centers (CCLC) have united to offer childcare services on both sides of the Atlantic ocean.

The alliance stems from an existing crossover between the two organisations. CCLC’s parent company Knowledge Universe also owns Busy Bees, the UK childcare provider. My Family Care and Busy Bees regularly work together to offer employers and their employees back-up childcare services.

Ben Black, founder of my My Family Care, said: “In today's world, there is no simple choice between work and family. With more dual-career couples, more employees have care commitments, and supportive family services are critical to a company’s bottom line.

“If employers want to ensure a productive staff – to recruit, retain, engage them and address absenteeism head on – they need to help employees balance childcare with their work responsibilities.”

Fran Durekas, founder and chief development officer for CCLC, added: “We are thrilled to build this international relationship with a company that shares many of the same values and commitments as we do at CCLC.

“Our continued focus is and always will be providing high-quality childcare and customized offerings for our clients and their employees, whether it is in the U.S. or abroad. Our alliance with My Family Care aligns perfectly with this mission and will enhance the scope of service we can provide to [employers] to address their employee’s work life needs.”
