At Keepmoat, we recognise that building thriving communities starts with supporting our best asset: our people. The construction sector is a high-pressure environment, so ensuring workplace wellbeing and an open approach to mental health is central to our culture.
Across the organisation we have an embedded, people-centric HR strategy that focuses on development and retention. Our performance framework is designed to enable colleagues to feel valued, supported and to thrive in their roles.
Through our Valuing Difference and KeepWell initiatives, we work to equip managers and leaders with the skills and confidence to have meaningful conversations surrounding wellbeing and stress.
As part of a wider commitment, Keepmoat partnered with The Lighthouse Charity, a specialist construction not- for- profit wellbeing organisation which provides vital emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support for people working in our sector.
We have embedded resources, including a 24/7 helpline, live chat, counselling and self-help tools, to create a clear path for those seeking support. We also provide a variety of materials such as screensavers, posters and QR codes to highlight support services.
At Keepmoat, we have mental health first aiders and wellbeing champions and we have established peer support groups for menopause and neurodiversity. We are passionate about workplace wellbeing, championing positive work-life balance and career progression to equip our teams with the support needed to deliver the homes and communities the country needs.
