Masterclasses will put HR directors right

HR directors are specially catered for this year, with three HR director masterclasses taking place on day two of the conference, 26 September.

Tim Taylor, head of group reward at TUI Travel, will lead a masterclass focusing on the impact of the abolition of the default retirement age. The session will look at HR and finance directors working together on this issue.

Jane Richards, reward technical partner, wealth at the Royal Bank of Scotland, will advise on how to ensure value for money on benefits. The seminar will also look at handling benefits in-house compared with using a third-party adviser.

Sylvia Doyle, director at Reward First People Consulting, will discuss executive remuneration and developing benefits for higher-paid staff.
