KP Snacks is to re-launch its bikes-for-work scheme in April 2016.

The food manufacturer is re-launching the benefit with the aim of boosting take up among its 1,800 employees.

The scheme, provided by Cycle Solutions, was first introduced in July 2015.

Some 6% of KP Snack's employees have taken up the benefit since its launch.

Employees who opt to take part in the initiative pay for bikes and accessories through a salary sacrifice arrangement, providing tax and national insurance savings.

Rukaiya Chinoy, HR business partner at KP Snacks, said: “We have a geographically and culturally diverse workforce and a key objective when planning our scheme was to ensure all employees had access to the same choice and service.

“The scheme has been very well received and we’re already planning our next launch for 2016.”
