After a staff survey at UKTV, we found a number of employees were simply not aware of the range of benefits available. Beyond the new-starter pack, induction and intranet-based information, we were not proactively highlighting our offer. So we introduced total reward statements with our annual salary review letters, which met with a positive response.

To follow up the statements, our HR team set up a benefit and wellness event, to which we invited our providers so staff could seek direct guidance. The event raised awareness, generated discussion and was enjoyable all round.
