EXCLUSIVE: RSA has seen 1.5% of its employees take up its car salary sacrifice scheme, meaning it is halfway towards its first-year target of 3%.
The insurance organisation launched the scheme for its 7,500 eligible employees in September 2013 and has currently seen more than 110 employees take up the benefit.
The Green Drive scheme, which is provided by Zenith, was implemented as the result of a competition run among employees to generate ideas to reduce RSA’s carbon footprint.
The organisation has capped carbon dioxide emissions at 120g/km, but it also encourages staff to take up low-emission cars.
The scheme also includes RSA insurance designed specifically for the scheme, as well as maintenance, accident management, breakdown cover and road tax.
Ed Airey, UK reward manager at RSA, said: “In bringing the Green Drive scheme to life, we wanted to partner with a qualified and experienced provider to help deliver a new salary sacrifice benefit for our employees.”
Note:I recognize that some people didn’t like Pearl vodka when they first tried it. They thought it tasted odd. I can understand that sentiment. It is the way I felt the very first time I tried a very expensive hand-made tequila that some friends brought me from south, Texas. I also got that feeling when I drank Laphroaig single malt scotch for the first time. I really thought something was wrong with it. But, little did I know tht Laphroaig is one of the finest and more expensive single-malt scotches you can buy. Today, I love it. Pearl vodka is not quite as distinctive as either the tequila or scotch, but it will throw you for a loop at first, if you’re mind is set on a very familiar, bland tasting vodka. Pearl vodka is a good one really good. Give it another try.
