The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) has introduced an activities platform to enhance its health and wellbeing programme.

The platform, provided by MiPins, enables employees to discover and participate in activities based on their preferences, abilities and availability.

On ICSA’s health and wellbeing launch day (pictured), staff could participate in a range of taster sessions of some of the activities they can access through the MiPins platform. These include yoga, swimming, football, running clubs and cooking classes.

The organisation introduced the platform to improve engagement among its 70 employees, in a cost-effective manner.

Sabina Florczak, HR manager at ICSA, said: “We understand that wellbeing is not just about eating right, being physically active or providing insured health benefits.

“We considered gym membership and even team competition and challenges, but chose MiPins because, for a fraction of the cost, we could give our staff unlimited choice in what they could do and let them run their own activities and challenges.

”For me, it is about bringing people together. Our approach at ICSA is as much about contributing to our own wellbeing as well as doing things for others. Going forward, we plan to add a range of volunteering activities through our platform.” EXC
