In 2012, our annual dental survey found 9% of employees (from a sample size of 11,785) said they were unable to visit their dentist more frequently because they could not get the time off work.
Our 2013 research (released in April) showed this figure had fallen to just 4%.
It is encouraging to learn that more employers are allowing staff time off to attend these important health appointments.
