This year’s Employee Benefits Awards entries contained a number of ideas and initiatives the judges wanted to take back to their own organisations.

Gary Brewer, head of reward and organisational development at William Grant and Sons, intends to look at his organisation’s approach to staff returning from maternity leave after seeing some innovative initiatives, while Tim Taylor, director of group reward at Tui Travel, came across some new ideas for auto-enrolment communications.

The judges are also taking away ideas around the use of social media and financial education.

The judges featured are:

  • Masha Boldyreva, reward manager for Europe at Mondelez International
  • Gary Brewer, head of reward and organisational development at William Grant and Sons
  • Debra Corey, group compensation and benefits director at Merlin Entertainments
  • Mel Duffield, head of research and strategic policy at the National Association of Pension Funds
