Skyscanner won the coveted Grand Prix award at the Employee Benefits Awards 2018.
The global travel search website was lauded for its innovative and fresh employee benefits strategy and its approach to getting employees to support business strategy.
Skyscanner was recognised in two additional categories, winning the awards for Best staff travel benefits and Best flexible benefits plan. The organisation’s entry into the Best healthcare and wellbeing benefits, small employer category was highly commended.
Tom Hiles, group benefits manager at BNP Paribas, took home the prestigious Employee benefits professional of the year award, while the Benefits team of the year award went to Countrywide.
The Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party 2018, in association with Aon Employee Benefits, took place at The Pavilion at The Tower of London on Friday 8 June 2018.
Julia Clement, director of reward at Skyscanner, said: “I’m very excited for the team and for what we achieved in such a short space of time. The team pulled together a really slick-looking and engaging employee benefits programme based on feedback from employees and it was really well received."
