EXCLUSIVE: Europe’s largest employee benefits and reward event, Employee Benefits Live, has partnered with the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAP Association) for 2018’s event at the ExCeL, London.
The EAP Association is a not-for-profit organisation that represents the interests of both organisations and individuals concerned with employee assistance and psychological health and wellbeing in the UK.
The Association, which was established in 1998, aims to promote best practice and the continuing development of employee assistance programmes (EAPs) in the UK. This includes developing, maintaining and applying standards of practice, guidance and a code of ethics among its members.
Members include external and internal EAP providers, purchasers, counsellors, consultants and trainers working in employee health and wellbeing. The Association further works to represent these industry members to the government and other professional bodies, as well as participating in consultations and responding to the media.
The EAP Association is the UK branch of EAPA International, which is based in the US.
Kavitha Sivasubramaniam, editor at Employee Benefits, said: “EAPs offer support to people when they need it, often when they don’t know where else to turn. The EAP Association has a crucial role to play in ensuring they continue to provide this support, as well as ensuring best practice standards are maintained. We are delighted that it has come on board as an event partner to support what promises to be the biggest and best Employee Benefits Live to date.”
Employee Benefits Live is a two-day event for HR, reward and benefits professionals, featuring an extensive exhibition and a comprehensive multi-stream conference programme. Delegates will be able to gain insight from leading industry experts and specialists as well as network with their peers, colleagues, industry providers and consultants.
Employee Benefits Live 2018 will take place on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 October 2018 at ExCeL London.
