The Employee Benefits Awards 2009 have been inundated with many sparkling entries, so make sure you have reserved your place at the gala lunch in June to see the winners announced. Hosted by comedian Rhod Gilbert, the event will take place on 26 June at the London Hilton on Park Lane.
This year’s awards have attracted a record number of entries, with more than 100 finalists in 21 categories. Leading employers, such as Boots, Tesco, Fujitsu and Centrica, are just a few of the well-known names to have made the shortlist. The award categories range from ‘Most effective total reward strategy’ to ‘Most effective benefits strategy for organisations with more than 1,000 staff’.
Debi O’Donovan, editor of Employee Benefits, said: “In 2009, it is more important than ever to acknowledge and learn from outstanding reward and benefits practices as employers aim to motivate and retain top talent in tougher times.”
