Employee Benefits Awards finalists announced
The shortlist for the Employee Benefits Awards 2009 has been announced. Leading employers such as Boots, Tesco, Fujitsu and Centrica have made the list of finalists.
The ultimate winners will be announced at a glittering lunchtime ceremony on 26 June 2009 in London.
The Employee Benefits Awards aims to celebrate the work that employers undertake in the area of employee benefits, and is the only event of its kind in the UK.
Editor of Employee Benefits, Debi O’Donovan, said: “In 2009 it is more important than ever to acknowledge and learn from outstanding reward and benefits practices as employers aim to motivate and retain top talent in tougher times.”
The 2009 Awards have attracted a record number of entries with over 100 finalists in 21 categories. Categories range from ‘Most effective total reward strategy’ to ‘Most effective benefits strategy for organizations with more than 1,000 employees’.
The entries were judged by 14 expert judges drawn from a wide variety of reward backgrounds.
