Kwik Fit Financial Services was awarded ‘Most effective benefits strategy for organisations with more than 1,000 staff’.
By launching its flexible benefits package and introducing a number of on-site facilities, the team at Kwik Fit Financial Services has reduced absence levels and staff turnover, which is not an easy feat for a call centre organisation.
Its flex scheme includes a wide range of perks, such as dental insurance, private medical insurance, retail vouchers, holiday trading and bikes for work. By December 2009, the company’s flexible benefits take-up rates had reached 97%.
Kwik Fit Financial Services also provides extensive on-site facilities for its employees, which is unusual in its sector. These include a nursery, a full-time concierge service, a fully equipped gym, and a full-time occupational nurse.
Brendan Devine, Group Managing Director of Kwik Fit Insurance said: “This award reflects the huge attention to detail that has been given to ensure that all staff working at our Uddingston headquarters enjoy a happy and fulfilling work environment. Since our flexible benefits scheme was introduced, absence levels and staff turnover have almost halved.”
