Eurotunnel has introduced a health cash plan for its 791 employees at its UK terminal.†
The cash plan, provided by Health Shield, offers a number of benefits including: dental; dental accident; eyecare; alternative therapies; chiropody; health screening and a 24-hour helpline. The scheme, called Essentials, costs the organisation 75p per week per employee.†
John Picton, payroll and benefits manager at Eurotunnel, said: “The Essentials scheme has proven to be a very popular benefit for all our UK staff.†
"Eurotunnel and the employee company council have agreed to jointly fund the entry level benefit for staff, with the opportunity for employees to increase their own level of cover or extend the benefit to their dependants at their own cost.”
