Employers spend vast sums on workplace savings and employee benefits, but new evidence suggests reward is not all about monetary value.
The 2012 Globoforce UK Workforce mood tracker survey found that 64% of employees would leave their job for an organisation where their contribution was clearly recognised.
The survey also found that more regular reviews would boost employee engagement, as 58% of staff feel annual reviews are not an accurate way of reviewing performance, while nearly a quarter of respondents said they fail to get any constructive feedback through the year.
