The Daily Mail and General Trust (DMGT) will use provider Staffcare’s middleware product to manage its auto-enrolment duties.

DMGT, which employs 11,500 employees globally and owns publications such as The Daily Mail, The Metro and The Mail on Sunday, has multiple staging dates, the first of which is 1 August 2013.

Approximately 45% of the organisation’s UK employees are already in a pension scheme.

Yvonne Pearce, group pensions manager at DMGT, said: “We will use Staffcare’s [product] for workforce assessment, contribution calculations, e-communications, enrolment, the opting-out processes, [management information] reporting and data management.”

Phil Hollingdale, founder and chief executive officer at Staffcare, added: “Our [product] is suited to organisations like DMGT which have to manage complexity with multiple pensions, systems and processes.”
