Heating, plumbing and building materials organisation Wolseley UK has introduced a car salary sacrifice scheme for all of its 6,500 employees.
The scheme, provided by Zenith, was launched in November 2015 and the first car was delivered in early December.
To date, 29 orders have been placed by Wolseley UK employees, three of which have already been delivered.
The organisation ran an innovative communication campaign to generate interest and engagement with the car salary sacrifice plan among its staff. This included an employee competition to name the scheme, the winner of which was Sarah Harrison, support services and governance manager at Wolseley UK, with 'The Wheel Deal'.
A promotional campaign, delivered in partnership with Zenith, used a series of distinctive emails, posters and roadshows to publicise The Wheel Deal at various Wolseley UK locations.
Christina Jones, reward and benefits manager at Wolseley UK, said: “We have seen a fantastic response to our car salary sacrifice scheme so far with 23 vehicles ordered in the first month.
“We believe our car salary sacrifice scheme will continue to be an attractive and lucrative benefit for all our staff.”
