Traffic offences such as jumping red lights or yellow box junction violations among company car drivers have risen by an average of 28% in the first quarter of 2007, according to LeasePlan's Quarterly driver survey. Speeding and bus lane violations have also both increased by 7%. Parking fines, however, have fallen by 13%, along with fines levied for not paying the London congestion charge, which have dropped by 15% since last year. The survey also identified a growing appetite for satellite navigation systems, with 50% more company car drivers showing an interest than in last year's survey.
