Cumbrian-based housebuilder Story Homes has launched a company car scheme to enhance its reward and benefits package.

The scheme, which is provided by fleet management firm Lex Autolease, includes insurance, and a service and maintenance package.

Around half of the organisation’s employees are eligible to participate in the scheme and can choose from a selection of cars aligned to their grade in the organisation.

The scheme is part of Story Homes’ Aspire programme, which has created a more defined structure of the organisation’s roles and accountabilities, objectives and reward and career progression.

Steve Errington (pictured, left), managing director of Story Homes, said: “As a fast-growing organisation, we want to attract and retain the best talent in the market, and one way to achieve this is by enhancing the range of benefits we offer.

“A company car scheme can act as an excellent motivation and reward tool for both current and prospective employees. We are confident this scheme will prove to be a popular addition to our employee benefits package.”
