Soil Machine Dynamics (SMD) has introduced a company car scheme via a salary sacrifice arrangement, as part of its flexible benefits package.
The scheme, provided by ALD Automotive, is open to all permanent staff who have worked at the subsea robotic manufacturer for more than six months.
Eligible employees can exchange part of their gross salary towards the lease of a car, which will trigger national insurance and tax savings.
Catherine Grout, project accountant at SMD, said: “Employees can use a comprehensive modelling package that details how much less tax and national insurance they could expect to pay when choosing a specific car.”
