SG Fleet has acquired UK contract hire, short-term rental, and fleet management organisation Motiva Group.
The acquisition by SG Fleet, which operates in the UK, New Zealand and Australia, aims to expand the organisation's presence in the UK contract hire market, and strengthen its commercial vehicle and daily rental operations.
The acquisition of Motiva Group follows that of Fleet Hire in August 2016. As of November 2016, the Fleet Hire and SG Fleet teams are both based in Hamptom-in-Arden, in the Midlands.
Peter Davenport, managing director, Peter Wright, sales director, and Matt Hill, financial controller at Motiva Group, will remain in key roles within the business.
