NYSE Euronext Group has launched a salary sacrifice car scheme for its 650 UK employees.

Through the scheme, provided by Tusker, staff give up part of their gross salary in exchange for a car with CO2 emissions of 120g per km or below. So far, 2% of the workforce have joined the scheme.

The perk is available to staff via the company’s voluntary benefits plan iChoose, provided by Truestone Employee Benefits.

David Peach, HR director at NYSE Euronext Group, said: “We wanted to extend our voluntary benefits offering with an initiative that promoted environmentally-friendly new cars but was also tax-efficient. As we are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint, this seemed the perfect solution."
