Lloyds TSB Autolease has launched three free online calculator tools to help employers manage fleet costs.
The calculators each focus on one area of fleet management, covering fuel bills, cash allowance takers and whole life cover costs.
Fleet managers input headline figures in each category to work out the estimated annual cost of their fleet, using details such as employee tax and national insurance bills, ratio of diesel and petrol cars in the fleet and the cost of life cover. They can then use the results to identify how they can better manage costs or make savings on their fleet bills by adjusting variables or by working out hypothetical scenarios.
The calculators, which can be found at www.ltsba.co.uk/cost, are supported by a free best practice guide to managing fleet costs.
