Home Group has launched a salary sacrifice car scheme for its 3,350 UK employees.
The social housing firm is currently phasing out the use of company cars and bringing in cash allowances. Some employees are expected to use their cash allowance to select a new car through the scheme, which is provided by Tusker.
Home Group has also set a carbon cap of 155g/km for cars available through the scheme in an effort to reduce its carbon footprint.
Employees will be provided with information on the scheme through a series of roadshows taking place across the UK, beginning at Home Group’s head office in Newcastle.
Kelly Mitchell, HR business partner – policy and reward at Home Group, said: “The experience for employees really stood out, with cars being collected from any location for servicing and then delivered back again to wherever staff wanted them.
“We have already had quite a bit of interest from employees who want to join the scheme and we hope it will be a successful addition to our benefits package.”
