Vehicle funding and fleet management organisation Fleet Alliance has acquired a controlling interest in contract hire and leasing services business Neva Consultants.
East Sussex-based Neva Consultants, which provides fleet services to both corporate and private customers, will continue to trade as a separate brand under the umbrella of Fleet Alliance Group, overseen by Martin Brown, managing director.
Fleet Alliance will have a majority shareholding in Neva Consultants. Graham Prince and Nick Collinson, directors at Neva Consultants, will retain a shareholding in the business and will remain in their existing roles with responsibility for day-to-day operations.
The acquisition will enable Fleet Alliance to have a greater presence across the UK.
Martin Brown, managing director at Fleet Alliance, said: “We have known and worked with Neva for the last 10 years or more and, indeed, share the same IT platform and back office systems. In that time, we have come to recognise them as a thoroughly professional, well-run business with a culture very similar to our own. In short, they made the perfect fit for us.”
